Review: The Ritz-Carlton Bali - The Club Lounge

Welcome back. In the last post, we went over the basics of the property and the pool pavilion. Today, we'll go over the club lounge, food offerings and overall experience.

As previously mentioned, my villa was conveniently located right by the club lounge. Each time I walked in, I was greeted by name and offered something to drink. The lounge attendant Ein went out of her way to provide a memorable experience and got to know me a bit.

Guests have the opportunity to purchase club lounge access at check in, and as a gold member, I received a special rate of $58 USD + tax and service. While this may sound pricy for Bali, I found it to be a fantastic deal. It essentially turns the resort into an all inclusive - offering breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, light dinner, and dessert & drinks. While the hotel calls them light meals, thats not the case. They serve full meals from all across the globe - Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Western... you name it, they've got it.

In the next post, we'll look at the upgraded Garden Villa - stay tuned.
