As previously mentioned in our intro post, we will be hosting a meetup in Vancouver as a launch event for the site. The event will be taking place on Friday, July 19th from 7pm-9pm at the St. Regis Hotel in downtown Vancouver.
Join the team and fellow Vancouver based travellers for a fun filled evening where you will have the opportunity to network and learn more about the points and miles game. We will start off by introducing all the contributors to the site, and have a short presentation for those that are new to points and miles. We will touch on the strategies we use for earning and spending points, including booking complicated itineraries, first and business class tickets, and the ever secretive topic of manufactured spending.
This will be followed by a Q&A session, and the rest of the evening will be spent networking and meeting like minded individuals. Please feel free to come up to any of us and ask questions in person as well.
While there wont be a charge for entry, we ask that everyone register here, as space is limited. The St. Regis Hotel in Vancouver is graciously allowing us to host the event in their space, so we encourage attendees to purchase food and beverage to support the venue. The event will be held in a private room in the restaurant of the hotel.
There will be several prizes available, including First and Business Class amenity kits, airline pyjamas, gift cards, and a grand prize of 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
